The nature of rule in Saddam’s Iraq and Ayaltollah Khomeini’s Iran

We are looking at the impact of Saddam Hussein and Ayatollah Khomeini on history and on people’s lives, and in this episode, I’m going to look at the nature of their rule. Saddam is often described as a dictator, enforcing his vision of how a society should be, the policies that will make that vision a reality, and destroying anyone who thought differently.  Whereas In sharp contrast, Ayatollah Khomeini's regime was a theocracy.
